Risky Behaviour

The riskiest place you can be is trying to do the same things in the same way as you’ve always done them. Few things are as foolish as hoping old behaviours will somehow present new results.

We can all accept that risk without proper consideration can be foolish to take on, but leaving the status quo unchallenged is as good as going backwards. Tried and trusty methods may bring the results that set the standard when they were first put in place, but what about progress? What about individuals? What about development?

Don’t fall into the trap that tried and trusty automatically defines the best result and therefore the best outcomes for you or your pupils. Challenge those thoughts and find the best solution not just for now but for the future.
